Homeowners’ Associations

Homeowners’ Associations and Condominium Owners’ Associations do not have large annual legal budgets, but they deal with a lot of different legal issues each year.  As a result, they often believe they need to choose a law firm which offers “cookie-cutter” representation and services in return for a hefty annual retainer.  Unfortunately, the result of choosing such a firm is that an Associations’ matters are handled by non-lawyer employees of the firm, and there is rarely an attorney specifically devoted to the needs of the Association.  At Stovash, Case & Tingley, P.A., we have represented Homeowner’s and Condominium Owners Associations for many years and we understand the challenges and limitations faced by Associations.  Board members and their management companies need to be able to speak directly with the attorney handling these matters and to know their attorney is well-versed in the needs of their community.  The firm provides client-focused representation which is responsive and affordable.  Whether handling violations of Covenants and Restrictions, recovering delinquent regular or special assessments, amending and preserving the Association’s documents, or appearing on the Association’s behalf before a local government, Stovash, Case & Tingley, P.A., is prepared to assist Homeowners’ and Condominium Owner’ Associations without being prohibitively expensive or generic.
